Update on my mom

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Drs decided not to operate and allow time to heal. Mom is in lots of pain but at least today she is dozing a lot. Pain meds were increased. Sometime during the week she will go to a rehab facility. Her hemoglobin is too low and they want to transfuse but will need to insert a pic line and she is refusing so is taking oral iron meds. Luckily I live only 5 minutes from hospital.

Glad to hear that things are looking up for your mom. Also happy that you are so close to the hospital - cuts down on tiredness from driving back and forth. Hope that things continue to improve - will keep both of you in my prayers. Take care.

I know first-hand how exhausting this type of thing can be, both emotionally and physically. Take care of yourself, as well as your mom. Hugs to you both.
